Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand. -George Orwell
Having experienced the horrible, exhausting struggle of having a baby, I relate, in one respect, to George Orwell’s quote about his experience in writing a book. The hours of pushing and sweating to bring to a new creation to life — be it the human kind or the kind on paper — can be horrific, but well worth every minute of pain.
